The Chilcotin Plateau lies between the Fraser River in the east and the Pacific Coast Mountains in the west.

In this part of British Columbia you find the most beautiful landscapes:
rolling hills and snow-covered peaks, pristine lakes, mighty streams and small creeks flowing through meadows – nature seemingly untouched and unspoiled.

Climate and Seasons:

In summer the temperature goes up to 30°C and sometimes we have blue "Chilcotin Skies" for several weeks on end.

Fall brings beautiful sunny days and dropping temperatures at night, the landscape highlighted by fall's bright colours – Indian Summer – most enjoyable.

Our winters are cold and dry – temperature average -10° C – with lots of sunshine and just enough snow to cross-country ski or take magical winter walks.

Spring is very exciting: melting ice (sounding like noisy monsters in the lake), mud everywhere – but it is nature's awakening with all the little pleasures the start of a new cycle can offer.
